Expert advises: 5 hair oils you should keep on a shelf in the bathroom

Coconut

Coconut oil is universal. It easily replaces the body butter, face cream and hair mask. Speaking of the latter. The oil contains many useful amino acids that envelop the surface of the hair, protecting them from aggressive environmental influences. It restores a healthy glow, rescues from dryness, softens and moisturizes. There are several ways to use coconut oil. Before washing the entire length – twice a week, instead of the conditioner – is applied to wet hair, and then washed off with shampoo, along with a detergent – 2-3 drops. If you have a greasy type of scalp, do not apply oil to the roots – step back 5-6 cm.

Argan

Trichologists adore argan oil. For this, thanks to the “golden” composition – it contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, as well as shottenol and alpha-spinasterol, which are responsible for cell regeneration – it can be safely applied to the scalp with dryness and slow growth. And another helper is triglycerins, which restore the protective hydrolipidic barrier. If you want to make a mask, warm the oil to room temperature, and after applying, wrap your hair with a film and lightly heat it with a hair dryer so that the beneficial substances penetrate the hair follicles faster.

Castor

This oil, which can be easily bought at any pharmacy, also has many useful properties – it prevents brittleness, strengthens the roots and “pacifies” the cuticle, smoothing it. The main active ingredient is ricinoleic acid, which helps to accelerate hair growth. Oil can be used in pure form. But it is better to give preference to products based on it – they foam better, wash off better and contain a “cocktail” of additional useful ingredients. Contraindications to its use: allergy and individual intolerance.

Burdock

It seems that there is not a single girl left on earth who would not at least once in her life try to make a mask of burdock oil. Our grandmothers also knew about its properties. And in the age of low molecular weight cosmetics, they continue to break popularity records. And all because its composition is a storehouse of vitamins, micro and macro elements.

Avocado

Avocado oil is a must for those who suffer from dry ends and dry scalp. Unlike all others, it does not belong to the base, but is more often found in other care products. Greenish-yellow, without a pungent odor, it perfectly retain moisture. The only minus of the oil is the difficulty in flushing. Although this drawback more than compensates for the effect: the hair after application is smooth, shiny and healthy. I highly recommend that all blondes look in its direction.
